As production manager of brand creative services at Gymboree I managed print production on dozens of direct mail pieces, hundred of in-store print pieces, hundreds of on-garment packaging pieces, while executing all mechanical file creation for two brands.
Direct mail projects were my favorite because they involved complicated dielines, color testing, attending press checks, and creating mock-ups. I also worked directly with our vendors and a color technician to better align color reproduction on various substrates across three different brands and multiple vendors. Production involved booklet direct mail, postcard mail, marketing advertisements, spot color reproduction, POS structure requests, hang-tags, on-garment sew-ins, heat transfer labeling, bottle labeling and more.
